Not too complex. Really good game. Lots of units, lots of very silly humour. Not sure how accuratley it implements the board game, but each level is a fun little puzzle in the campaign game. Looking forward to getting some multiplayer games in if the scene is there, otherwise I'll have to buy it for a friend and force them to play! Bit fiddly sometimes, but no crashes so far for me. Tutorial seems very good (a lot of complaints about it here). Covers items you'd expect it to, interface is good at showing what is possible move wise, odds for direct assaults, die rolls needed for hits...really, really good. Odd negative reviews from people who bought the game thinking it was something else other than an impementation of a board game.. The game has really come a long way. A much higer production value compared to others of its kind.. This is a great adaptation of one of my favorite board/war games of all time. The tutorial missions work well to teach players the concepts and the single player missions provide a good deal of tactical training and hours of play. I can't wait to see how this version continues to grow as the tabletop game has!. Must have for any board game collector.. Alright, so I bought this game and then refunded it after about 30 minutes. I then put uo a review as a negative experience.I decided that this was kinda stupid and unfair to the devs who obviously worked hard on this game. So I rebought the game and am now giving it another chance. I gotta say it's really good. However, the dice are brutal. As it stands now this is a good casual game, not really a full blown strategy game. Depth isn't very remarkable although not entirely shallow. The current pricetag of 28$ is certainly too high.. I remember seeing the kickstarter for the board game of this.And its a fun and simple digital copy of that and it mixes alot of the old classical war movies with the name's of some of the heros and the other easter eggs. I give this a 8 out of 10 on the Trixie Meter and highly recomend it for a simple but chessy fun war game. A great boardgame...made better by not having to deal with the mind boggling number of pieces and line of sight rules. This game is fantastic. A true turn based strategy game that doesn't get bogged down in the details and provides you with enough diversity to enable you to have a good think before you move. A faithful representation of the wonderful boardgame.
